Winter skincare tips

Winter can be challenging for skin. Low humidity, cold air and indoor heating together increase moisture loss. Many notice more dryness, tightness and roughness; sensitivity-prone skin reacts more.

The key is to support the barrier more strongly — richer moisturisers with skin-identical lipids add comfort. Avoid long, very hot showers, use lukewarm water, and moisturise while skin is still slightly damp.

Don't skip sun protection in winter; snow and clear skies increase UV. A humidifier can support indoor skin. If your skin struggles notably in winter, consult a physician.
